The 2025–26 school year is off to a strong start at Margarita Muñiz Academy—and this year brings an exciting new chapter of leadership. We are proud to share that Dan Abramoski, who previously served as our Assistant Head of School, has stepped into the role of Head of School.
To help our community get to know him better, we asked Dan a few questions. Here’s what he shared:
“My vision for Muñiz Academy is directly connected to our mission. I think our work over the coming years will be around deepening our dual language practices to support language learning in English and Spanish and ensuring that all students graduate ready to succeed in college and beyond.”
“After working in a bilingual school for over ten years, it is hard to imagine working somewhere that doesn’t do as much as Muñiz Academy does to honor and respect both languages. For me, working in a bilingual school means that all students and families can bring their whole selves to school with them each day.”
“The energy that the students bring to the building every day. It keeps us on our toes and pushes us all to be better educators.”
“Anywhere outside with my family but preferably in the mountains—hiking, biking, skiing.”
“Supportive. Our goal is always to welcome and care for every student who walks through our doors, and to give them the support they need so they can learn as much as possible while they are with us.”
“Muñiz Academy is a strong community with a deep commitment to a rigorous, dual language education. We are really excited to expand to serving students in 7th–12th grade and are excited to continue to grow and adapt in the coming years.”
🌟 With the first two weeks of the school year behind us, we are thrilled to welcome Dan Abramoski as our new Head of School. We look forward to his leadership as we continue to build on our mission of dual language education and support every student’s path to success.
